Gold Medallion Homes at View72 is a planned community consisting of 330 stacked flat condominium units. The community will feature site amenities such as parks, trails, and playgrounds.
View72 is named due to its close proximity to the I-15 exit at 7200 South and its position on the bank of the Jordan River that commands expansive views. The property is located two blocks from I-15 - the major north-south transportation corridor for the Salt Lake Valley.
This Transit Oriented Development will have a Light-Rail TRAX stop located to the north and south of the project. Trax is scheduled to be running in January 2010. This is a pedestrian friendly design with mixed use semi-urban elements.
View72 offers maintenance free living along with convenient parking. Condominium amenities will include:
- Fitness facility
- Community gathering place with a kitchen, swimming pool, elevators, trash and recycle chutes on each level
- Small neighborhood live/work retail (child daycare, coffee shop, pickup/dropoff dry-cleaning service, and/or deli)
- All condominiums will also be handicap accessible.
View72 is about 5 minutes away from one of Utah’s largest shopping malls, Fashion Place Mall. Retailers include Nordstrom, Sears, Macy’s, Dillard’s, and many others. Restaurants include Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill, Red Lobster, Red Robin, and most recently The Cheesecake Factory. This area will be just 1 TRAX stop away.
The University of Phoenix and Salt Lake Community College are both within 4 miles of the community. The University of Utah is 11 miles from Midvale and there is also a direct TRAX line to the U of U campus. Other educational facilities are close to the community, which include Midvale Middle and Hillcrest High Schools.
